Who can benefit from a pendant alarm?
Pendant alarms are ideal for anyone who lives alone, is unsteady on their feet, recovering from illness or surgery, or simply wants peace of mind knowing help is easily accessible.
Do I need a landline or Wi-Fi?
Some pendant alarms work through a telephone landline, while others are mobile and operate using a SIM card with mobile network coverage. Other models may also use Wi-Fi or GPS for location tracking and communication. The best option will depend on your home setup and individual needs.
Is the alarm waterproof?
Most pendant alarms are designed to be worn in the shower or bath, where many falls occur. However, it is always worth checking the waterproof rating before use in wet conditions.
What happens if I press the alarm by accident?

All our pendant alarm and base unit systems are subject to a monthly fee which will vary according to which devices are included and whether a monitored or unmonitored service is used.
Can the alarm be used outside the home?
Most pendant alarms are tethered to their base units and will typically only cover the home and garden. GPS-based alarm pendants – which are peripheral devices – can be used outside the home to raise an alarm and for location tracking, but do not enable speaking to the alarm centre.
How do I set one up?
Most alarms are simple to install and come with instructions. For WiFi based units, you will need to connect to your network as you would with any other device. With SIM-based units, SIM cards will come preinstalled & there is no need to arrange any kind of separate phone contract. We can provide phone support if you have any issues.
